What Is Tekkit, Anyways? 🤔
Tekkit 2 includes a wide array of mods that allow players to create complex machines, automate processes, and explore new dimensions. Some notable mods featured in Tekkit 2 include:
- BuildCraft: This mod introduces pipes, auto-crafting systems, quarries for mining resources, and engines for power generation.
- Industrial Craft 2 Classic (IC2): Focused on electricity generation, ore processing, item automation, and more.
- ProjectE (Equivalent Exchange): A remake of the original Equivalent Exchange mod that allows players to transmute items using Energy-Matter Covalence (EMC).
- Galacticraft: Enables players to start their own space program, build spaceships, and explore other planets.
- Forestry: Adds farming mechanics, renewable energy production, and breeding systems for trees and bees.
Getting Started...
- Before proceeding, you should have a Minecraft account.
- Get yourself the current Java runtime environment.
- Also, go get the Technic Launcher.
- Select Tekkit 2 from the MODPACKS section.
- Once in, select MULTIPLAYER, Add Server, then enter craft.jumbomuncher.com as the server address.
Prepare for many of these steps to take a while. It's not like it has to load Minecraft and 147 mods on top of it or anything.. 😂
